All of our full arch dental implant surgeries are handled by Board Certified Oral Surgeons. These professionals have a higher level of formal training than general dentists who place implants. In fact, Board Certified Oral Surgeons complete all the certifications to become a general dentist, then spend an extra 3 to 4 years specializing in surgery. This higher level of training ensures a safer procedure and higher success rate for our patients.
The only portion of treatment that is handled by a general dentist is after surgery during the restoration (placement) of the final prosthetic teeth on top of the implants.
